Plaster Repair & Prep Work
What this job actually involves
Nobody books a painter for filling. But every failed paint job we get called to fix failed in the prep: paint over mould, skim over a crack that was still moving, or a topcoat rolled onto glossy trim that was never keyed.
We treat prep as its own job with its own standard, and we'll happily quote it on its own if you have a plasterer or another trade doing the painting.

Diagnose
Find out why - a crack that is still moving needs a different fix to a settled one.
Fix the cause
Leak, damp or movement dealt with before anything cosmetic happens.
Repair
Fill, reskim, sand back level, and block stains so they don't ghost through.
Prime
Correct primer for the substrate, ready for topcoat or hand-over.
