Glen Waverley is two housing stocks in one postcode. There are the original brick-veneer homes from the seventies and eighties, most now due for their second or third repaint, and there are the knock-down-rebuild double-storeys that have gone up around them. They want different things from a painter.

The older homes usually need real prep - chalky render, tired eaves, and interiors where the trim has been over-coated so many times the detail is lost. The newer builds are mostly about high ceilings, voids and stairwells, which is an access and cut-in problem more than a paint problem.
